Whangaparaoa peninsular north of Auckland

Today we drove north and went for a lovely 2 hour walk in the Shakespear Regional Park. It was named after the Shakespear family who bought the land from local Maori in the 1880's.
The views were stunning and this is one of the photos that I took.
After that we had lunch in a cafe overlooking Brown's bay and then we had another beautiful beach walk.
We returned to my brother and sister in law's at the same time as them They had been away for the weekend.
Tomorrow we are back to babysitting. We are really enjoying watching Zac change so much in such a short time. He is 14 weeks old now and sadly we only have 2 more weeks here before we go home.
