This morning Miles and I went for a long walk, including starbucks and the park while daddy did some work on the rental house. I brought my actual camera and nice lens in hopes to get a few good pics of Miles. But the thing with taking a 3 year old to his favorite park is...he won't be still. We stayed there a long time on the playground, walked along the water and met up with my friend Meghan who lives in the neighborhood - and who Miles loves. When we left Miles kept turning around yelling, "Bye Meghan" about 6 times. And when we couldn't see her anymore he told me, "I miss Meghan"

Just as we thought we were going to be done with all the house stuff, another mini disaster. We finally got the shower fixtures and sinks back on the very bathroom that caused the flood 4 months ago. So I cleaned the bathroom and took a shower. And then went downstairs to find water everywhere...again. It was coming from the light fixture. Luckily we got a crew out here at 8pm to cut open our ceiling and start the dry out process and found that it's likely only the shower drain that needs fixed. Miles was excited to have all the commotion and see his favorite contractors back working and asked to watch Bob the Builder before bed.
