Framed

I was sitting on the sofa indoors watching the TV when the birds alerted me to the fact I had not fed them this morning.... well it is still early! So off I went like a dutiful "slave" fed and watered the birds.

Then came back indoors and sat drinking my tea when the lovely Robin popped by and where I was sitting was framed in the arm of my garden bench.

Last night the sparrow hawk took off with one of the white doves, I know it is the "circle of life" but it always makes me sad but worse still this morning, the dove is back! Its looking very rough, big red blotches and bloody feathers but it flies and eats. I did get a photo but thought it would not be a nice picture to look at.
