Silver bee
The rosemary has flowered all winter and bees have been almost constant visitors – except when it has been too cold and wet. The rosemary pollen makes them seem quite silvery, when it is all over their bodies, like this one. No native bees are to be seen yet – they usually make an appearance in October, when it's more consistently over 20º C.
