Birthday treat

Did something today I've wanted to do for years - went for a horse ride.

Today was my birthday present, a 2 hour ride at Muriwai which including riding along the beach and in forest track. The day was all the better by the fact these horses are well looked after and only ever do this "job" for a year at most.

One day I'd like proper lessons and to canter freely on that beach - one day..... Today was a very good start.
