On a boating theme

I think I have already mentioned this book which I read earlier this year, and very good it was too.

This morning I woke to the rather tranquil scene of a couple of narrow boats moored up on the canal at Roydon in Essex. Thinking that would be the subject for my blip today, and having a little time before breakfast and heading off to work, I enjoyed a cup of coffee, soaking in the bath and reading a few pages of my latest book.

Trouble was, that when I finally left my room to take the photo it was snowing heavily.

So the cover of the book is the next best thing.
