Welcome to Woolacombe Bay

First of eight back-blips…..

Myself, Mrs K and Danielle headed off to our holiday in North Devon. As expected it was pretty busy on the M5 south and it took nearly an hour longer than the out-of-season two-hour journey.

Having unpacked and familiarised ourselves with the very neat two-bed bungalow at Braunton we set off to get some fish & chips in the village (Squires - highly recommended, queuing out of the door for both sit-in and take-away); Delicious.

Afterwards we took the short drive along the coast road and along the way I just had to pull over to capture this fine welcome to Woolacombe Bay. A bit of kite flying on the beach and a few more shots included me knocking the camera off a bench and breaking the Skylight Filter - and not for the first time I'm embarrased to say! Fortunately the 10-20mm lens survived so it could have been much worse.
