St. Catherine's Chapel, Abbostbury, Dorset
A trip to Chesil Beach and Lucie and I were feeling adventurous. We walked all the way up a hill (going round the hill and through the forest and round another bend before really climbing up in driving rain!) And it was all worth it cos the sun came out and we got dry! The view is amazing as you can see the famous Abbotsbury Swannery, the village itself, the phenomenon that is Chesil Beach and beautiful countryside. We walked back down and missed the second downpour only to find a drenched DH and the eldest shivering in the car waiting for us! They gave up the walk as eldest didn't have the right shoes on (!!!) and therefore couldn't find shelter from the rain.
Needless to say we spent the rest of the day back at the cottage getting dry and warm.
