South Tynedale Railway

Had a day out up near Alston walking along the old railway track from Slaggyford
to Haltwhistle. We walked the section from Lambley Viaduct towards Slaggyford.
On the way home we saw the train going back to Alston.
This is the North of England's highest narrow gauge railway and goes for 3 and half miles. Took this photo of the engine turning around.
