'Sunday Roast'..........!!

And it doesn't come much better than this!!!
This was a gift from a friend of ours whose husband has a sheep farm......
where everything is organically reared.....
believe me this is the best-tasting roast dinner you could ever eat......
if you like roast lamb, of course!!
I treat it very simply..........lots of Rosemary & Garlic.......sea-salt & black pepper and loads of olive oil...then into the oven to cook slowly for a long time....
falls off the bone and is the 'sweetest' taste ever........!

Not the best of days........have just come back from our weekend emergency GP clinic as I've had this peculiar red rash that started to spread from my ankles yesterday afternoon.......by last night it was travelling up my legs and became unbearably itchy.......hot red and very sore........I could have torn the legs off myself.......I took and antihistamine and went to bed....slept reasonably ok.....
but it was worse than ever this morning and around my left arm-pit too.....
I usually get hives when I eat the fresh garden produce this time of year.....
but nothing this bad......
anyway Doc was a bit perplexed......didn't think it was anything too sinister and of course when I mention the 'stress' that my Mother has me under.....the reaction is always the same "Ah yes, now that wouldn't help at all"........
So, he prescribed me some antihistamines, some steroidal topical cream and Eurax lotion........it all seems to be helping.....
I'm getting mightily sick of all this ...........there's always something!!!!!
but I wish tomorrow was over!!!
