Michaelmas Daisy

Just to pinpoint to myself the sort of time of year.

I was out collecting thistle examples today.
Oooh, sharp wee so-and-so's, even in a plastic bag which was inside a nylon bag.
How I'm going to get on when they're on the operating table I just don't know.
I've already spotted a few fairly large spiders crawling around the table (quickly put back to the outside world where they belong, I hasten to add).

I'll soon be getting my new wee camera.
