Much has been written about how the campaigns are stimulating debate in pubs, halls and front rooms. I'm hopeful that, whatever the outcome of the vote, we retain this heightened interest in public policy.

Independence or not we'll live in a better Scotland if we focus on, and face up to, the issues facing our communities.
