The Boys are Back in Town.

As the wife shot out the door at 8am eager to get out on her stand up paddle board I said, i'll see you in a bit, even though I am on 24hrs emergency call for work I was hoping to get a day on the beach, well that was the kiss of death as at 8.50 the phone goes "burst water main in St Helens" so that was that goodbye Sunday!

Luckily we were on the route of the scooter ride out as each August bank holiday thousands of old Mods and scooter fanatics descend on the Isle of Wight, there were that many it took then 20mins to pass us, a fantastic sight if not a bit noisy and smelly.

Then when I get home the wife is bounding round the house telling me what a brilliant day she has had and how a seal came up along side her board to check her out then decided to rests it head on her board no more than two foot away and NO CAMERA!


Jealous or what!.......................Not me!
