Living history

Went to Papplewick pumping station again today, they had a Great War living history thing today and we learnt about grenades and other stuff then they handed out tokens and took us on a little informative walk and as we went different coloured tokens were sounded out and we heard their fate, neither Mr Mouse nor me made it. Mr Mouse died first drowning in his own vomit due to mustard gas, I survived the gas attack to then be blown up by a grenade, only a few made it through. 10% in fact. It was a little bit of a shock to see the tiny few who survived and then look back at us the large crowd that had died. It was really well done and then we had a minutes silence.
