Loch Cluanie

Spending the weekend at the Cluanie Inn for some banter, eating and drinking and some hillwalking . Spent today climbing my 261 Munro - a hill I think I'd been up before but wasn't sure . Thus a 6 hour trek to get it " bagged ". Lovely day though with the odd shower ( of sleet ! ) but great visibility . This is a view looking west along Loch Cluanie towards Kintail and the Cluanie Inn. Loch Cluanie is an artificial loch caused by a hydro work in the 1950s. It has a large dam at its Eastern end and I believe you can see ruined houses in the loch when it is very low .
