Home sweet home
We have just returned from a Regatta week frustratingly no internet and no luxury of a phone capable of doing a blip with so here I am, the Red Arrows were great JS and I remembered my card for the camera!!!!(sorry) they swept down at what seemed an impossibly low level over the Harbour. Yesterday was a somewhat difficult day, on going on a small boat trip out at sea we ran aground caught up by a rope on the propeller pulling us towards rocks, and there we stayed for what seemed like an eternity bobbing up and down rather strongly waiting to be rescued with blue lights flashing and little boats appearing then us all jumping ship!!! Oh dear and boats and I have never agreed! We then watched in bitterly cold conditions a fantastic firework display over the water off we ran to the car to travel home switched the engine on desperate to get warm...... Nothing!!! And there we sat in frost on a headland no facilities at all nearby waiting nearly three hours to be rescued......again!! A family of four a puppy and a dog a trailer and a lot of luggage! we arrived home 5am clever P had caught 5 Mackerel which he was gutting at 6 am, two hours sleep later I was up to attend to one of our horses who is very ill and the rest of the flock! At present I need a holiday!!!!!
