Me and Rabbie and Breagha
Early start up the A9 to Aberfeldy this morning. Gorgeous sunny day, perfect for a walk up the Birks. Rabbie Burns used to come up here and sit, and funnily enough wrote a poem about its beauty. It's strange to think that when he wrote it in 1787, the falls and the trees and paths are just the same now in 2014 as they were then.
It's such a tranquil place, even with the thundering sound of the water cascading over the rocks.
Nothing tranquil later as I completed the #icebucketchallenge in the back garden with Cameron and Ben taking great delight in pouring cold water over my head!!
