House for an Art Lover, Bellahouston Park
Late afternoon light on the House. We enjoyed a walk in the sunshine around Bellahouston Park, including the beautiful Victorian Walled Garden.
Designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1901, for a German competition, but not built until the 1990's. A joy to see this place in all its glory after my sad visit to the School of Art yesterday. I know the GSA will rise from the ashes, but somehow it won't be just quite the same ever again.
I keep hoping those jelly moulds will be moved. Part of the sculpture project, but I really don't like them sitting in front of the house.
