A new train car case

Received a new case made especially to hold N scale trains. On the shelves, the maker has cut grooves that match the N scale track so that cars put in will not fall off. Beautiful craftsmanship. It came from Greenway Products. You can see their stuff at greenwayproducts.com. Very reasonably priced and shipped, including glass doors, via UPS.

It is five feet wide with eight shelves it might hold up to 128 50 foot cars. There will be seven staging tracks on a shelf below this case. Hesse staging tracks will be connected to the railroad and supply plenty of operation. The idea is to swap out cars to the trains in staging as they are needed on the railroad, storing those that have done their job. That way the little railroad feels much larger than it is. The staging tracks will hold seven trains with 20 cars each so there should be plenty of capacity. Never enough staging or cars and locomotives.
