Puerto Banus Marina

Today we took the hour long return trip on the Fly Blue Catamaran from Puerto Banus to Marbella. It was a hot day and the breeze was very refreshing. The journey takes you along the Golden Mile Marbella coastline with views of the mountains beyond.

The photo is of the marina in Puerto Banus. The marina has berths for 915 boats, including those of the King of Saudi Arabia and several of the worlds wealthiest individuals. Puerto Banus is the playground for the rich and famous - full of super-cars, luxury yatchs and the perfect place to do a bit of people-watching and, of course, a spot of shopping (very nearly tempted by a new handbag but I did resist!).
