Spring?

I had every intention of blipping a mono recycled blip today.

But...

I was out and about and spotted this lone muscari (grape hyacinth) - braver than the rest, or sillier, as it was the only one in flower. It seems awfully early in the season to me. I'm sure it's really still winter.

Anyway, as I was contemplating taking its photo, this lone bee spotted it too, and that was just too good an opportunity to miss. I thought it would probably take off before I changed my lens but she hung about checking in every little floweret.

I don't know where she had been before but she has managed to pick up a decent smattering of pollen from somewhere if you look closely you can see it on her eye.
