Opportunity Knocks!

The Kirkintilloch Canal Festival 2014 runs from 18th to 24th August so I thought I'd take a trip over to see what was happening and maybe take a few photos of the event. Whatever was happening on Friday afternoon, however, passed me by - it was either happening in a different part of Kirkintilloch than the main street or at a different time from mid-afternoon. Will try again on Sunday when the main event takes place!

However, a wee wander round Kirkie provides plenty of photo ideas. I didn't have too much time and this rather derelict building being described by the estate agents as a 'development opportunity' raised a smile. Understatement of the year, or what?
