Early morning -
Pier at Boscombe
Standing proud,
But quite deserted -
That’s how I like it!

Wet and wild,
Windy and cold,
Murky and miserable,
Grey, filled in sky -
That’s the weather!

Wet and bedraggled,
Cold hands and feet,
Chattering teeth,
But still smiling -
That’s me!
