Comfort Food

For some reason, today I was inspired to take this shot - for me being brought up in a French/European household, "pain au chocolat" has always been a comfort food.

It takes me back to a simpler time and simple delights as a child - how just the anticipation of this treat made me so full of joy! I still really enjoy pain au chocolat - picked this up at my coffee shop this morning and saved it for my afternoon snack - still reveling in the anticipation of it - some things never change (nor should they) :)
