Thornton Dale on Monday

All weekend people have been arriving in the village to look at 'scarecrows' which have been adopted on one weekend a year as a phenomenon and an attraction for visitors. Certainly boosts the local economy, I've never seen so many cars and visitors across one bank holiday weekend. This one was in a private garden in Priestman's Lane.
