A View to Breadown For

I'll stop there, it can get a lot worse if I continue. Bond would be so proud.

It's a stunning view of the Sussex countryside from the roadside just outside Lewes. Fortunately, you could say, we had a couple of hours to enjoy it, as when we stopped for a mere few minutes to take the photo, the car broke down & would not start again. We tried to get my Clio going but without success, so we called recovery & set about waiting.

Fortunately, you would definitively say, we'd parked up next to a pub.

Gin & tonics & some hot snacks for us then. Shame.

With just enough time for us to enjoy our drinks & our dinner, a man arrived. Now, would you believe it, my car started first time. Typical. Anyhoo, we had a fun, impromptu night out, so we have no complaints.

I can only hope that if & when we breakdown in the future, it's next to a pub. It's not a lot to ask.
