Wet day Lego

Typically wet British bank holiday. Really, really wet. So after the obligatory trip on a bank holiday to a well known DIY shop, we returned for lunch and indoor play.

Carys cleared out her doll's house and made it a new home for her Sylvanian animals. She also tried on a number of bits of clothes for me only to find they didn't fit, so I have emptied the last of the magic drawer in order that she has some clothes to wear that fit. Next time she grows we will have to go shopping together as she is slowly getting some sort of idea of what she likes and doesn't like and I would hate to buy stuff in the sales for next year that she then wouldn't want to wear.

Will and Daddy mostly did Lego, the old fashioned way ie: we are going to make X and then make X from imagination rather than by following the instructions that are supplied.

The rain better stop over night. One day in the house all together has been enough to give us cabin fever, it will be waterproofs and wellies and out we go regardless if it continues!
