Blue Monday

Even though I've not a back garden of my own anymore, there is plenty of birdlife in the back garden of my flat. I put the end-piece of the loaf out onto the windowsill. Until now I've only noticed that they have been eaten. This morning, just about to head out to work, I discovered this wee blue tit was feasting on the seeds of my fancy bread. What you don't see is that the bread and bird soon disappeared over the edge shortly after this was snapped. But don't be blue. The wee tit was soon back and getting wired into the other - less healthy - ender. The blue you see in the background are the recycling bins below.
I loved the way the image looked when all but the blue was removed. Blueatiful !!
