More small things

I was reading about an experiment called the "door study". An experimenter asks somebody on a university campus for directions. As the person starts to explain where to go, two people carrying a door pass in between the two, and in doing so the experimenter is replaced by another person. Nearly none of the persons giving the directions realised that they were talking to a completely other person afterwards!

I find that quite amazing. Will definitely try to be more attentive!
