Devils-Bit Scabious

A very calm dry day in Shetland with quite a bit of sunshine. So calm that it was the worst day I've experienced with midges in Shetland for a long time.

There are not so many wild flowers around now but the Scabious in the field next to the house has survived the silage cut and was calm enough today for the macro lens to be used.
