Sandy lady

This rather amazing sand sculpture was sitting in the courtyard of Hebden Bridge town hall where we had just failed to go to a photography exhibition because it closed at four. I don't know who she is but given the date I suppose she could be a WW1 wife or mother receiving the bad news.
