The tokens

We're trying a new method of rewards to try and tame Dexter's tantrums, which have been pretty bad recently. It involves marbles, happy faces, sad faces and tokens. If he manages to get seven tokens he gets a new toy car. He is trying really hard to control his tantrums and today he had an amazing day.
I had to deliver a Red Cross course today and so the kids went into supervision. I was a little worried how Dex would be as he was the youngest there and was separated from his sister but when I went to collect him the reports were glowing. They were amazed that he told them after his lunch that he'd 'like to go for a sleep now.'
Perhaps he just needs to get back to school and into a routine as they both seem to behave much better for other people than for me!
