Concert for Gaza

An enterprising couple at the camp set up and ran a small and beautiful outdoor café, the Pump Up Coffee Bar, where visitors were invited to make donations to the Gaza relief fund in return for their coffee.
Someone came up with the suggestion of holding an auction to support the fund. An interesting variety of objects and services was then offered for auction... from a walk and talk on the subject of trees led by a tree surgeon to breakfast in bed from an excellent cook. There were psychic readings, reflexology treatments and all kinds of stuff. A quartet of singers and musicians, including myself, offered to play a concert in the venue of the highest bidder's choice.
