The Book & I

When I was a kid, I learned my favourite book by heart and and pretended to read it aloud at the kindergarten. Everybody was impressed- I was only 4 years old. This tells you two things about me: I've always been a bookworm and, secondly, I'm not to be trusted at all... By now, I'm the harassed owner of almost 2000 volumes. I'm planning to fit up my bookshelves with glass doors, so I've got to spend less time dusting the books.
I've got no idea where this obsession comes from. A day without reading is quite unthinkable for me...
