Blowing in the Wind

After lots of miles the last couple of days, we spent today at a calmer pace in Edinburgh. We'd arranged to meet up with friend and fellow blipper Viv at Edinburgh Botanical Gardens. We took a walk around the gardens, lots of chat and a few photos along the way (it was a bit overcast by that time). Really great to catch up.

We had a really lovely lunch at the gardens before moving on to see the exhibition of the Edinburgh Photographic Society International Photographic Exhibition. Some really amazing photography - although some that I'd personally see more as digital art than photography. At the end of the day, it is all subjective!

We said our goodbyes then it was time for me (Chris) to get to the airport. I was flying home whilst Annie is staying on for a couple of days' work. The weather seemed to degrade over the course of the flight and I arrived back in Luton to torrential rain. Nice to get home though.

It's been a great weekend, we will return for more Scottish adventures as soon as possible.
