Today turned out to be very productive! We got ready and went to Tesco for our weekly shop, it was done in less than an hour but with a few extras thrown in (which is why we usually do it online!) including slippers for me, a school skirt for Amelie (she's very fussy so thankfully we found one to meet her requirements...the rest of her school wardrobe consists of pinafores!) and some tasty bits for lunch. Isaac loved holding every piece of fruit and beg before turning round and dumping it in the trolley! Back home to enjoy said lunch then Chris and I undertook the mammoth task of moving about 6 boxes of empty DVD cases onto the loft along with a few of my memory boxes and two suitcases full of stuff. This sounds like a relatively straight forward task BUT our ceilings are high so the loft door is high and our ladders don't go all the way up. So Chris had to close the step ladders, lean them against the wall whilst I held them and climb up. Danger! Oh and it's right on our tiny landing right next to our very steep staircase! Then I had to set the step ladder back up and carry the heavy boxes up and hand them to Chris. The final suitcase was, for me, like doing some kind of weight lifting move! Anyway we got that done and our bedroom is now so much clearer, it's amazing! Meanwhile Amelie and Isaac enjoyed watching a film together that they had chosen in tesco, it's a new favourite. Chris sorted the kids dinner and I out away piles and piles of clothes before coming down to do our dinner. We watched a film but I found it hard not to fall asleep!
