Still no sun

But at least it has stopped raining - for now.

A lovely swim in the outdoor pool this morning. I went early because I had to collect Sparkie from her cat hotel. ( They said she had been good - and although she has only been away for a few days, she is sleeping for England !)

During the summer holidays, there have been a number of arguments when children on holiday have sneaked into the pool before the allotted time of 9.00 am. Jumping in is fun - but if you're trying to do lengths, it's annoying.

It's amazing what a drop in temperature and whistling wind does for peace and quiet. though I think the kids would come in, it's just the parents who don't want to sit and watch them out there :-)
