Chinese chop

This my father-in-law's chop, the signature seal he had made as a souvenir in Singapore the first time we lived there in the early 90s. It will have been quite a task for the seal maker to make something in Chinese characters which would sound the same as father-in-law's surname Hartgerink. I have no idea if it really sounded similar nor what the characters actually mean (hope it's not something inappropriate). If you want to know more about Chinese chops there's a bit of info here. Had father-in-law still lived today would have been his 95th birthday.

We're again in The Netherlands only for the day, moving son no 2 and his last bits of stuff to the new flat tonight before returning to Belgium. Thanks very much for your comments on yesterday's two squirrels, I'll try to find out if black tails are common in Belgium.
