Simple pleasures

I may have mentioned before that my employer still recognises an extra customary day on the Tuesday after Easter, Spring and August Bank Holiday Mondays. So today is a day off :-).
Read a lot of my novel, did some washing by hand (washing machine will have to wait till Friday for its repair) and walked as far as the GP to pick up a prescription and book some blood tests and a flu jab.
I know how to live.
On the way home this caught my eye. A bit brighter than yesterday.
