Harvested fields

Well I returned to the fields of barley to find that the whole area has now been harvested and the resulting hay bales stand someway in the distance. I assume this took place well before the heavy rains of yesterday.

Made soup today, wearing winter clothes and suffering from a cold. It definitely feels like autumn now.
