What was that ?

Took a few peanuts and seeds in my pocket and when I came to a small clearing I put them on an old stump then retreated back into the trees... After approx 10 minutes it began to liven up with a fair selection of the usual suspects, out of the corner of my eye I spotted movement off to my right, staying very still I noticed a Red squirrell approaching, they are quite often attracted I`ve noticed by the movement of the birds, I managed 2 shots as he crossed to the stump, and one as he scampered off with a nut in his mouth.. I was now in a good position for his return when there was a very fast sudden swoosh through the trees, everything scattered and I realised it was a Sparrowhawk, obviously the squirrell was`nt the only one attracted by the activity.. I know from past experience things would stay very quiet for quite some time so I headed off...
