I should probably explain...

Inevitably its been a dull day - rain, admin and the plumber contrived to keep me indoors and struggling for a blip.

I was trying to see if I could get some real close up of bubble iridescence, but it didn't go to plan. They wouldn't settle on the smooth black tray and I only got two workable shots.

I used curves to increase the colour contrast and then played around with various filters. This uses polar co-ordinates and an alternative can be seen here. I also tried the kaleidoscope, which came out a bit groovy baby! The unfiltered shots look like this.

Better luck next time - early mornings on the grass seems to be the way forward...
