The Kelpies........

Well today turned out nice didn't it? it did up here anyway - blue sky and sunshine all day long and still going strong - my kinda day.

Sis and I went off to find The Kelpies this morning - not bad looking beasties. Ok bigger eyes and larger/repositioned ears would be a good idea (one gets the idea the creator didn't actually study any horses) - but on the whole they're pretty neat and worth a look.

Before seeing the Kelpies we went round to the Falkirk Wheel just for the hell of it - again an entertaining way to spend a bit of time and have an ice-cream.

Then we dashed back to pick up the LBT from school, home for a quick change and then off up to Craigmillar Castle for an hour or so.

Dinner has now been consumed and a glass of red wine is being slowly worked on...................
