Wet playtime

It wasn't really a day for outdoor photos. I thought I might get a picture of an interesting and rather beat up VW Beetle at the MoT garage, but there was a sad and slightly panicked looking gentleman pacing close by and I chose not to intrude.

Cold rainy days in August demand French onion soup with gruyere croutons. I grabbed the camera part way through topping, tailing and peeling a kilo of red onions. Here's a shot with the colours inverted.
