Wet Dawg

It rained and rained today so I took Charlie out for a walk later than usual.

It was still raining a bit when we left and he always gets soaked in the long grass anyway. He also made the most of the many puddles in the park.

Al came with me and we walked for an hour and a half in the wet park which looked beautiful and green.

I gave Charlie a bath when we got back.

Betsy was out all afternoon with her old friend Sam.

In the evening we had another hour on our game of Monopoly. I was down to £2 when we began. I landed on Free Parking and got about £900. I spent it all on houses. I lost all my money and had to sell the houses and was back down to £2 within 20 minutes. I'm not a very good example to the children of how best to manage your money.
