Yay! Out Nordic walking again!
Went on the Tuesday afternoon walk from Castle Ashby today. It was slow going in places because the fields had been ploughed and the mud was sticking to our boots making them really heavy!
A couple of the walkers had bad backs so we kept the pace quite slow which suited me! It's amazing how quickly your body slows down without the regular walks. Moving your arms and driving through with the poles really makes the blood pump. Much more than a normal dog walk! With the weather how it's been lately, I haven't been able to swim so I feel really unfit. Must get to the gym more! :-)
