Man In A Tree

At the end of my road there is a piece of waste land. There used to be a huge concrete barn at the front of it known simply as 'the potato place' because it was owned by a potato farmer and used for the storage of his potatoes. The land and barn were sold, the barn pulled down and planning permission granted for four houses. Today, the trees on the land were felled so we assume some clearance is going on.

However, it is 12 years since the land was sold and 10 years since the barn was demolished so we're not holding our breath waiting for the houses to be built.

(It's just occurred to me - there were three of them carrying out this task and not a safety harness or hard hat between them.)
