Trio in sunlight

I'd never stopped at the Burgoyne valley community farm, so I thought I'd have a look this morning on my way up to Ganges. It's so great that people who don't have space for a garden where they live to have a community garden like this. I was impressed by the number of plots and the great variety of veggies growing - and these three pumpkins with the morning sun shining on them looked lovely. (Actually I'm not sure they're pumpkins but I think they are! I've only ever seen pumpkins growing right on the ground. Some kind of squash if they aren't pumpkins.)

Soooo happy for our granddaughter Krista, who's heading to college in Alberta on Saturday! Classes start on Sept. 2.
