But, then again . . . . .

Flying Buttress.

I had a meeting with the powers that be at the Chapel, they are funding some footpath construction in The Glen that’s due to take place next month. It’s an awkward task, the ground is boggy and we don’t want to change the habitat as it is a species rich habitat. The plan is to employ a few groups of volunteers, there are plenty around, to built a raised timber walkway; even though it would be fairly easy to drain the area and lay hardcore. I was also able to negotiate the use of the chapel’s wheelbarrow for next time I need to clear rubbish left by the drunken revellers who seem to frequent the area, they do it on chapel land after all.
Just after the meeting I popped out to blip this buttress holding the corner of the Chapel up.

That business concluded we visited a friend where we watched the independence debate on television; hackles were raise, not least, by the incompetent chairman. He should have realised that his main role was to ensure that the protagonists kept to the normal debating rules, it is very difficult to listen to opposing views when they are being expressed simultaneously.
