Pacific Beach from our apartment in San Diego

A good start to our time in San Diego. Not a bad night's sleep all considered. Up around 8.30 and a relaxing time until about 1.00pm. Wandered out from the apartment for a coffee and muffin at Kono's cafe near the pier. A very popular eating place around here.

By then it was time to head over to La Jolla Shores for some snorkelling. We were surprised to find out that the package also involved kayaking as well. So an excellent couple of hours were spent on and in the water. We saw some bright orange fish as well as shoals of tiny fish. I went into the caves which was quite an experience.

Back to the apartment for shower and a cup of tea before going to Chris and his fiancée briefly before going out for an early dinner at BJs (I think)
